Your receipt history, in one place

The receipts you add stay in your account, with the details we read from them and the original image — so an old purchase is something you can look up.

Why a history is worth having

The moment you need a receipt is the moment you no longer have it: a return window, a warranty claim, an expense you have to account for, or simply working out what you bought and when.

A paper receipt in a drawer cannot answer any of those. A record with the date, the merchant, the items, and the image attached can.

What each record holds

  • The merchant and the date
  • Subtotal, tax, and total
  • The line items, with quantity and unit price where the receipt prints them
  • The original receipt image, kept alongside the extracted details

If OCR misreads something, the image is there to check against, and you can correct the record.

What this is not, yet

ReceiptBay keeps the history of the receipts you add. It does not yet connect to your bank or card accounts, so it cannot show you purchases you never added, and it does not track prices for you across stores. Those are being explored, not built — the roadmap says which is which.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, and you can ask us to delete your account and the receipts in it. The delete account page explains what is deleted and what is kept.
